Our Contract to You
We shall accept your order by e mail, telephone or by order form and will confirm details of your purchase and tell you about the delivery date. All goods must be paid for before they are sent by ourselves. The agreed information you give to us should be accurate and up to date and will form the basis of our contract essential to us to provide the goods and services.
Delivery can be to any address as long as the cardholders address is present on your order.
DeBrett’s only deliver to the United Kingdom ( The Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Island are subject to additional charges).
All Deliveries must be signed for, and please keep all paperwork enclosed with your goods.
Your shopping basket shows that delivery charges are included in the price of the goods.
All items of jewellery will be sent out using Post Office Special Delivery and all returns must be sent back using the same method (returns are at the customers own expense ).
We do not deliver to Post Office ( P.O) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
Unless an item of jewellery requires an alteration then we are able to dispatch the next working day, however, if an alteration is necessary the dispatch is normally within 3 working days.
Whilst we at DeBrett’s work towards sending out your order on time, we are in the hands of a third party ( The Post Office ) to fulfill their side of the transaction.
Tracking numbers for your delivery are available to our customers on application.
Under the distance selling regulations 2000, you have a cooling off period of 7 working days in which to cancel the goods, this starts from the day after you have received them.
Please report any damage that there may be to the packaging immediately.
Returned goods must be in their original packaging along with all of the paperwork, goods must be in an unworn condition with no scratches or damage.
Goods that have been re-sized to your specific instructions or bespoke items cannot be fully reimbursed, or fully refunded.
All returned goods must be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and insured by yourselves to the maximum insurance level, currently £2500.
When addressing the package for return please use a shortened version of our name ie DeBrett’s and NOT DeBrett’s Jewellery, this will help prevent theft during transit.
If there are any problems with any item purchased from ourselves, then please feel free to contact us, as soon as possible, in order for us to try and resolve them.
